Carlos Juiz, as UIB representative and coordinator of the ITG4TU project and Mehdi Khouja, as representative of Gabes University, attended the Grantholders Meeting in Brussels, on 27th and 28th January.

This event was organized within the framework of the European Union Capacity-Building for Higher Education Action which is funded by the Europe Aid Development and Cooperation Directorate General and the Directorate General for Enlargement. The workshop sessions were devoted to Financial, Contractual and Project Management issues, with the latter being web-streamed in the morning of the first day for project partners from Asia and Eastern Europe, and in the afternoon of the same day (in Spanish) for project partners from Latin America

This project is aimed to gather a set of researchers from four universities with a wide experience in developing and deploying ITG framework models from 3 different countries (Spain, Germany and Norway) to develop, adapt and test a new ITG framework to be implemented in HEIs in Tunisia. Expected results of this project include a better governance model for IT in Tunisian HEIs as well as an overall modernization of the governance processes for HEIs and a contribution of the cooperation between EU and Tunisia.
