Slim Kallel, Ahmed Hadj Kacem and Ismail Bouassida presented the ITG4TU project through the Trainees Dissemination event at the FSEG of Sfax

On June 22nd, 2018 the Trainees Dissemination event took place at the Faculty of Economics and Management of Sfax where Dr Slim Kallel, Prof Ahmed Hadj Kacem and Dr Ismail Bouassida, presented the project and the content of a planned course.

Dr Slim Kallel and Prof Ahmed Hadj Kacem have presented the project as well as its activities among the attendance composed by teachers, Master students and Phd students. The purpose of dissemination of this project is to publicise the activities carried out in it, in order to raise awareness about the importance of IT governance. The idea is to attract the audience to attend to the planned ITG course.

The event started with the speech of the Coordinator of University Sfax Ismail Bouassida. Prof Ahmed Hadj Kacem gave a general overview of the project. He also presented the tasks already realised. After that, Dr Slim Kallel, gave a presentation of the project. The presentation detailed the following points: the objectives, the consortium and the progress of the project. Dr Ismail Bouassida presented the objectives and the content of the planned ITG course.

IT Governance for Tunisian Universities

This project is aimed to gather a set of researchers from four universities with a wide experience in developing and deploying ITG framework models from 3 different countries (Spain, Germany and Norway) to develop, adapt and test a new ITG framework to be implemented in HEIs in Tunisia. Expected results of this project include a better governance model for IT in Tunisian HEIs as well as an overall modernization of the governance processes for HEIs and a contribution of the cooperation between EU and Tunisia.
