On May 25nd, 2018 the Trainees Dissemination event took place at the Faculté des Sciences de Tunis belonging to the University of Tunis El Manar, where Dr Samir Moalla and Dr Abdelaziz Abdellatif, presented the project and the main aspects about IT governance (ITG).
Dr Samir Moalla have presented the project as well as its activities among the Master students attendees. The purpose of dissemination of this project is to disseminate the activities carried out in it, in order to raise awareness about the importance of IT governance. The idea is to attract the audience to attend to the planned ITG course.
The event started with the speech of the Coordinator of University of Tunis El Manar, Samir Moalla. Dr Abdelaziz Abdellatif gave a general overview of the project. He also presented the tasks already realised. The presentation detailed the objectives, the consortium and the progress of the project.
IT Governance for Tunisian Universities
This project is aimed to gather a set of researchers from four universities with a wide experience in developing and deploying ITG framework models from 3 different countries (Spain, Germany and Norway) to develop, adapt and test a new ITG framework to be implemented in HEIs in Tunisia. Expected results of this project include a better governance model for IT in Tunisian HEIs as well as an overall modernization of the governance processes for HEIs and a contribution of the cooperation between EU and Tunisia.
