A Erasmus+ Project belonging to Capacity Building, in the field of Higher Education

University of Balearic Islands

On 1st to 5th February, the Initial Training Researchers about IT Governance was held in the University of Balearic Islands, where Carlos Juiz, together with Ricardo Colomo-Palacios and Antonio Fernandez, taught the training course.

This training aims to set a minimum level of competency among Tunisian researchers. Besides, throughout the course, several frameworks already in use were presented (dFogIT and ITG4U) that was an initial contact with IT Governance procedures in other involved universities.

This project is aimed to gather a set of researchers from four universities with a wide experience in developing and deploying ITG framework models from 3 different countries (Spain, Germany and Norway) to develop, adapt and test a new ITG framework to be implemented in HEIs in Tunisia. Expected results of this project include a better governance model for IT in Tunisian HEIs as well as an overall modernization of the governance processes for HEIs and a contribution of the cooperation between EU and Tunisia.
