On 11th to 15th July, the Initial Training Managers about IT Governance was held in Hotel Nuevo Torreluz, where Antonio Fernandez, together with Carlos Juiz, taught the training course.

This second training was performed to set a minimum level of competency among managers in HEI at partner countries. For that reason, the course consisted of several workshops where partners had to work in groups and then in common in order to set a first state of the art of each university and understand the best practices that will help them to achieve the desired state of governance.

This project is aimed to gather a set of researchers from four universities with a wide experience in developing and deploying ITG framework models from 3 different countries (Spain, Germany and Norway) to develop, adapt and test a new ITG framework to be implemented in HEIs in Tunisia. Expected results of this project include a better governance model for IT in Tunisian HEIs as well as an overall modernization of the governance processes for HEIs and a contribution of the cooperation between EU and Tunisia.
